Meet The KidStreet Players!
Gordo:
The ultimate gizmo-gadget guy. He is always on the cutting edge of technology and is a lifetime subscriber to Popular Science. He has multiple computers and a “common central” set up in his room. He loves a clear plan, but can’t bring himself to be spontaneous. He finds it easy to show initiative, but is self-focused when he does, so gratitude is difficult.
Tyler:
A hyperactive budding filmmaker. He is never seen without his camera and is constantly concerned with how an event will fit into a documentary or new film idea. He’s a huge movie fan and student. He knows lines and trivia about movies he loves and movies he wishes he could have made. His joy in the simplest situations battles his difficulty with holding onto hope. He is generous and kind, but has a difficult time showing endurance.
Vinny:
Adventurous, daredevil, extreme-sports guy. He’s mechanically inclined enough to keep his toys running in top condition. He’s ready to try anything. He’s driven and popular. His adrenaline junkie habits fascinate his friends without alienating them. Skateboarding, base-jumping, rock climbing, rugby, hockey rappelling…are all activities he would participate in. He is fair and honest as a strict code of competition, but he has trouble forgiving others for not being as chivalrous. He has great endurance on and off the playing field, but constantly battles against his thin patience.
Marshall:
The quintessential renaissance kid. When he’s passionate about something, it involves his entire body and soul. His expertise is extremely wide ranging. He is a dedicated re-enactor. It could be the Batman® retrospective, a Renaissance festival, or a Star Trek® convention. He met Gordo at the chess club and they sparked an instant competition. He is wise, but finds it difficult to be humble. He is great at individuality, but it challenges his ability to serve. He finds it easy to serve. He finds it easy to show honor, but his lack of orderliness makes it a challenge.
Cammie:
Class president who is always up on the latest, coolest fashion. She’s dramatic, but extremely likable. She knows a lot of people, but has few very close friends. If you need to get it done, she’s the one you look for. She can be spoiled at times. She’s a little insecure, and feels compelled to be the “good girl”, so she looks for attention by striving for perfection. She is an overachiever. She is determined and orderly, but finds it extremely hard to be content. She is strong in discipline, but weak in generosity and sometimes in self-control and humility.
Samantha: "Sam"
The nonconformist. She defines her own style. No one is quite sure what the rules for this style are. She is definitely on her own path. Some may even call her “strange”. Her thought process is always out-of-the-box. She’s considered an outsider in school. Her short attention span keeps her from remembering her moments of social awkwardness. Sam can quote Cat Stephens, Bob Dylan, and Frank Zappa to deal with nearly any situation. Her compassion- which she has to the point of being at fault- clashes with her ability to be obedient.
Henry:
Gordo’s grandfather. Mrs. Finkenhoeffer’s father.
He has led an oddly adventurous life. His ability to fix things on KidStreet is almost legendary. He is the source of grandfatherly wisdom, but isn’t flawless. When he makes mistakes, he admits it.
Mrs. Finkenhoeffer:
Gordo’s mother. Grandpa Henry’s daughter.
She hasbecome the KidStreet mom. She understands the Kids’world despite her zany personality and slightly off sense of style. When a kid needs a sympathetic ear, it’s often Mrs. F that is sought out.
Z:
The MAN. Z is the co-host of KidStreet, and always brings a wealth of his own charm and...uh...wisdom. He typically models what NOT to do, and is good at showing what can happen when you make the wrong choice. Beyond that, he demands
tremendous respect because of his ability to fly, pass through solid walls, and breathe under water. He was also the Minister of Jeet Kwon Do for The Sultan Of Brunai.
Missy:
The Hostess. Well, to be fair, Missy is the "hostess with the mostess." She wrangles the rest of the KidStreet residents and brings the truth of the Word home. Without Missy, the Berlin wall would have never come down, and small pox would have never been cured. Beyond that, she tolerates Z and can make any dish "au-gratin" with the greatest of ease. |
